Meet our team!

Brianna Yeargin - Head Trainer

Brianna began riding at the age of 8. She instantly fell in love with everything about horses. She began training ponies at the age of 11. During her junior years she competed at many major A and AA rated shows across the United States. She earned many championships in the Junior Equitation ring as well as up through the 1.35 meter jumpers. After graduating from Barrington High School in Illinois. Brianna was offered an athletic scholarship by South Dakota State University to compete on their NCAA Division 1 women's equestrian team. Additionally during her freshman year at SDSU she was again recruited as a scholarship athlete by Kansas State University to ride on their NCAA Division 1 team and transferred her Sophomore year. She spent her Summers in Ocala, Florida managing a small private training facility and working with trainer and 'R' Rated judge Scott Hofstetter. Brianna graduated with a Bachelor's degree of Sociology.

Post college Brianna worked for a private breeding and training facility in Central Illinois as the head trainer. She worked on breaking and training young horses and training the more experienced horses to a higher caliber of show jumping in preparation for show and private sale. The owners of this facility moved on to Arizona and Brianna knew she wanted to continue training. Brianna then went on to gain more experience and spent time working and training with Olympian Kevin Babington in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

Brianna's favorite part about being part of a Division 1 Equestrian team in college was that the sport became more than just an individual competition but to that of a team sport and working together with your teammates to gain the most points for your team. She has used this philosophy for her new endeavor into Valiant Sporthorses creating a team atmosphere that we win together or we lose together, but the most important part is that we always have fun together. We can never forget why we all fell in love with horses to begin with
